Competitive Grain Bids and Contracting
Our market access allows us to offer grain bids at competitive rates. This includes river terminals and rail options from Addieville and Okawville locations to Southeast U.S. processors, end users, feed areas, and poultry areas. No matter your needs, our merchandisers will work with you on a pricing strategy you want to employ.
Top Ag Grain Marketing Contracts
Top Ag’s team of originators can work with you to determine a pricing strategy that suits your needs. We offer several contracting options, including:
Flat Price Contract
Straightforward with no minimum bushel amounts and no service fees. However, farmers who choose a Flat Price contract can lock in a price for grain to be delivered in a future month but cannot benefit if prices rise.
Basis Contract
When basis levels are strong, this contract allows you to lock in that strength and set your future price later.
Hedge-to-Arrive
This contract allows you to lock in the futures price while allowing the basis to be set at a later date. The basis must be set before the delivery of this contract.
Price Later
This contract allows the grain to be delivered without establishing any grain pricing. This contract will be subject to service fees depending on current market conditions. You are not allowed to forward contract the grain from Price Later.
